When we first walked through this home, most people would have seen a project.

A long list of updates.
Overgrown landscaping.
Rooms that hadn’t been touched in years.

And yes… all of that was there.

But that’s not what stayed with me.

🤎 Seeing Beyond What’s There

I’ve always believed that some homes just need someone to see them again.

Not for what they are in the moment…
but for what they’re capable of becoming.

This house felt like that from the very beginning.

Underneath the neglect, there was warmth.
There was light.
There was a story waiting to be continued.

✨ The Vision Taking Shape

When I close my eyes and picture this home finished, I see something completely different.

A soft, moody exterior that blends into the woods instead of fighting against it.
Warm wood tones layered with timeless finishes.
Lighting that feels ambient and inviting, not harsh or cold.
Spaces that feel lived in, collected, and full of intention.

This won’t be a stark, modern transformation.

It will be cozy.
Layered.
Elevated—but still approachable.

A home that feels like it’s always been there… just finally brought back to life.

🛠️ Design Direction (Without the Details…Yet)

We’re still in the early stages, and while decisions are starting to take shape, we’re being intentional about every step.

Leaning into:

Moody blue-gray tones for the exterior
Warm, natural wood elements
A mix of aged metals and classic finishes
Texture, depth, and layers in every space

I’m not rushing the process.

Because this isn’t just about making it look better—
it’s about making it feel right.

There’s something a little vulnerable about sharing a vision before it becomes reality.

Because right now… it still looks like a “before.”

But I’ve learned that the magic happens in this part.
The imagining.
The planning.
The what if stage.
